Origin Story: Uruguay
Uruguay is a land of rolling hills and verdant perennial grasslands. One could argue that it is akin to what Napa or Bordeaux are for wine, only in this case for grassfed beef. These incredible lush backdrops are layered with a tradition of hardworking gauchos that have moved animals across the landscape in a complex dance with mother nature for hundreds of years.
Beyond that Uruguay is highly regarded for being clean, secure, and stable. For these reasons the country is often called the “Switzerland of South America.” It is an enchanting place that has the deepest reverence for producing healthy meat from healthy grasslands.
